    Windows Media Player 11 Issue

    Whenever I try to play anything in Windows Media Player 11, the screen is just a white box. I've also tried DivX player, and it didn't help. I've downloaded the CCCP codec package as well.

    This happens with both movies and anime.

    I'm streaming the video from an external hard drive.

    Help with the white box issue?

    Update: Happens as well in WMP-plugin-based videos, for example GameTrailers.com videos. YouTube is fine.
