Windows Media Player 11 not responding

I'm running vista premium.
i had a windows update yesterday and i got that "albumart fixer" [wmp extension] thing
anyways, i don't know if it either if the above that caused this, but whenever i start wmp it does the "not responding" thing indefinitely, i have to "end task" to close it.
anyone know what the problem is???
it also affects my media center
it seems there is a problem loading my library files.
i tried playing my music on winamp and it works perfectly.
the only way i can get wmp to play is to double click on an mp3 file. And during the playback, it skips and then freezes/not responding after a few mins as it i guess tries to load the library

someone suggested it might be my phone connected via bluetooth trying to sync with wmp during start up. i tried opening wmp with the phone off but same problem. and besides its always been on and i never had an incident before.

Maybe try uninstalling WMP, downloading WMP 11, and then reinstall it.
