    Windows Media Player Classic crashing

    It just crashes after a few minutes. I have no idea what's causing this. Vista is so weird.

    I'm using a Gemstone Blue 6920G and haven't made any major modifications.

    What version of MPC and what encoding of the vid you were watching?

    The only time I have ever had MPC crash is if I am trying to play a file several gigs large. Have you tried simply reinstalling it?

    There is no installation with Media Player Classic, if this is the player she's talking about.

    Sorry you're right. But it installs with the K-Lite codec pack and that's the only way I've ever installed it. But yeah I should have thought of that.

    But in that case, why not try deleting the exe and re-downloading?
