I am having trouble viewing videos on the web using windows media player. I'm using the latest firefox, and windows media player. When I try to watch a video on gamespot.com the video won't run. Does ne one have a fix for this?

Noscript is a popular FF extension that blocks Javascript, if javascript is blocked, gamespot doesnt' call on the Flash player to load the video.

Could you be bit more specific about what happens if you view these videos? Like is it black? It doesn't load? It crashes?

The window that displays the video is just black. I don't think its loading. So far every player that i have seems to work besides windows media player when running in a browser.

I checked out most of the videos on that site, and they should all use Flash. The only thing I can think of is:

    1) Ensure Javascript is enabled
    2) Download the newest flash player http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
