    Windows Media Player Skipping!?

    For some reason, any song, all songs, anything that I play in my WMP skips.

    I tried un-installing, ect, still does it.

    Other players play perfect, no problems, just WMP...

    Anyone got a clue? :confused: :confused: :confused:

    Filetype, OS? This possibly belongs into "Windows OS and Software"...

    Try making sure that your audio drivers are up-to-date by visiting the manufacturer's webpage for your specific model.

    But wouldn't that be Media Player independant?

    The alternative - based on your post though is not audio drivers but codecs - they can be Media Player dependant - any strange additional Codec's installed?
