Hey guys, I just wanted to know if there is any way to increase the full size of Windows Media Player.
I usually watch my movies (which are on my computer) on my 32'' TV. The only problem is, there are these large black bars on each side of the movie, which kind of stink.
Can I increase the size without losing video quality? Or is there another video player that does this?

Media Player Classic will let you zoom, shrink and stretch the video anyway you like. Use numpad keys for easy access.
P.S : Resizing to remove black bars means you’ll be either zooming some parts of the video out of the screen or making it stretch (proportions will be all screwed up) -
You are watching a non-anamorphic DVD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windowboxing
I don't know how to do it in WMP but some other software like WinDVD or PowerDVD offers Pan & Scan option that you can use to sort of fix the problem. But they are not perfect. Depending on the movies, some portion will be cut off and the quality will be reduced.
