Anyone found a way to make a toolbar like in Vista for WMP (without rolling back into an older version of WMP) ? The most annoying thing for me is when i minimize it and click on a new song which restores the window.
And if its not possible to add the toolbar is it possible to force it stay minimized when i click on a new .mp3 ?![]()

Try hovering your mouse over the icon in the taskbar for a couple of secs then a minitoolbar appears... from there you can click back, play, and forward without opening the whole media player.
As far as a static toolbar, I have not seen or heard of one... but that used to be my favorite option for it..... doesnt matter now anymore though because I have multimedia buttons to do the same task heh
Try it though

Have you tried using the WMP Jumplist?

)
Goes with the feeling
So its a bit annoying that if you hear 40 songs you have to minimize wmp 40 times.

Here you go... WMP12 with Toolbar

Nice find, sadly its for 32bit only

You can use Zune software.. it has a mini player and taskbar. It's a great software worth to check it out.

nah no need for me to switch software any more. Used to use winamp but after a while i realised that it doesnt really make any difference which software you use so i started using wmp since it was already there
Im just hoping that someone else will get annoyed by this and finds a solution for us allNot sure if the current "fix" (replacing .dll files with the wmp 11 ones) is a decent fix for this issue.

And here I came to this thread, hoping someone had that very same question about the toolbar. And someone did! Unfortunately, the someone with the answer hasn't posted here yet.
Oh well. Someone will find a way soon. -
