    Whenever I want to sync music into my Memory Stick Pro Duo for my W800 phone, WMP syncs it in wma format. W800 doesnt support wma format. How do I sync in mp3 format?
    I browsed through the options but no option says that.

    Help!!

    1) Go to the "Rip Music" Tab
    2) Under "Rip Settings"; change the format from "windows media audio" to "mp3"

    weird huh? not exactly intuitive, why didn't they give us this option when it first detects the phone/device, and save a settings for that particular device. and they really should put some sort of option in the sync area. at least give us a link in the "device" tab.

    what file are you using for ur music?

    umm.. how about this. when u plug ur memmory stick in;
    1)under option select "devices" tab (sync->more options...)
    2)under that select ur memory stick, and click properties
    3)any option?

    i've look into windows media player help and it seems that there are a lot of useful info.

    the reasons probably is because windows media player don't know what kind of device u've got, since ur plugging in the memory stick; not the phone itself, thus its don't know ur phone's compatibility.

    don't sony ericsson supply u with their own software? why not try installing it? (or are u can't be bothered/annoyed that it'll make ur computer messy?)

    thats strange... don't you get one when u bought it?
    well... my only ideas right now is for u to either get that cable and see what happened or; do u mind moving ur music to iTunes?
