    Hi...

I wanted to ask whether making playlists is only relevant in WMP? In other words, can I make playlists in VLC and set it up in such a way that when I click on a playlist VLC fires up?

Apologies if this sounds like a really naive question - first attempt in all these years of moving my library of music to my computer and external HDDs (and of creating playlists).

    Thanks in advance.

I just looked, and in 'Preferences' -> 'Interface' -> 'Association Setup' you can indeed associate playlists with VLC.

Well, I tried that...all association were checked...still did not work. Anything else I can do? Or, should I start making playlists directly from VLC (assuming it is possible - am checking that now)?

    Thanks
