Are both of these applications missing from Vista Business? I've read somewhere that Business includes Movie Maker but NOT DVD Maker. It doesn't make sense that it would have one but not the other.

Yes, DVD maker is missing in Business. Movie Maker is included but unlike Vista Home Premium and Ultimate, it doesn't support HD content.

So...does that mean that Movie Maker in Vista Business can do pretty much everything it can in Home Premium, except it can't make HD quality movies? I can still make movie slideshows with soundtracks, credits, etc.? Would I only want HD if I'm burning to DVD?

Why "thank god"? Are you referring to Movie Maker or DVD Maker?

Yep, titles, effects and transitions, everything.

As for the HD, not really on a DVD. Maybe a Blu-Ray disk but not for a DVD. I burned my SD High School Graduation ceremony onto DVD. Looks just fine

What software did you use to burn it to DVD without DVD Maker in Vista Business? Is there anything in DVD Maker that I really need for burning movies to DVD?
