This is so weird:
I saved some pics off of a forum and all pics show up/preview fine. But then i get to a certain set of pics and the pic in the windows photo viewer become a thin horizontal line, like someone squashed it down from 1600x1000 to 1600x5.
But when I click on it to edit it with paint it shows up normal.
Whats up with that?![]()

When I click the properties, it shows the regular pic resolution

You could try using an alternative image viewer like IrfanView. It's faster and has a lot more features than the (I find) sluggish Windows Photo Viewer.

How about using Windows Live Photo Gallery, it's way better than Windows photo viewer. Funny why they didn't integrated in Windows.
