Would this be used as a supplement to or in replacement of O&O Shutup10?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
Supplement. First ust O&O ShutUp10, then when it prompts you to reboot after applying the tweaks, reboot then run O&O Shutup10 Again as one of the Telemetry Settings reverts itself back to enabled, hit Revert Changes then exit, it will prompt you to reboot for the 2nd time, then run this tool to polish up what O&O ShutUp10 missed.Last edited: Oct 10, 2018 -
Thanks! Do the notifications clear up over time?

The uninstall Windows app portion of the app hosed up some of the other apps I was using, so I would recommend sticking with Revo for this purpose.

Your post is from October. This one from yoo is from November. Have you walked back to use WPD ?
Or yoo still trust old results from Eset?
Maybe edit your post.

I use WPD and blocked everything but windows updates, But now Action Center will not open.
I am on Win10 x64 v1903
EDIT: I only used the default disable items and left the extra enable and now Action Center works again.
EDIT2: After a few reboots it looks like it`s something in the 7 extra services that`s blocking my Action Center.

@Mr. Fox Just a warning bro, using this tool to disable telemetry IP addresses causes Windows activation issues. I noticed my Windows lost its activation suddenly and when I tried to re-activate it, it says it can't connect to the bla bla bla server. The moment I removed those firewall rules everything went back to normal.
-
Have never seen the problem. All my machines use WPD.

Well count your blessings then. I did tweak and disable most Windows tasks as well like customer improvement program related stuff, diagnostics data, etc. but when I got rid of the IP Address blocking Windows got activated right away. -
Weird. 8 machines and all the same. Have also swapped to different Win 10 versions + Win 7 and Win 8.1 for benching. Nothing as what you have seen.Spartan@HIDevolution and Mr. Fox like this.

I have found it impossible to activate when WPD is enabled prior to activation. However, I have not have any problem from using WPD after I have already activated Windows. If you think about it, that kind of makes sense. Once you have activated Windows there is no more need for your PC to phone home. Whenever possible, I choose phone activation with internet access disabled.

That's what I would've thought too but it wasn't the case. I lost my activation until I had that stuff disabled.jc_denton likes this. -
Strange. There's always going to be something goofy happening with Windows 10. It's a goofy product, made by goofy people. Maybe it was something related to Micro$lop Store. I don't have that installed on LTSC.Spartan@HIDevolution, Papusan and jc_denton like this.

Weird if none have seen it and pushed out a bug report. I'm sure many don't want the Micro$lop Store on their computers,

Btw. With all my testing I have also had Micro$lop Store installed.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -

There seems to be an issue with the rules and the updating thereof. It's showing a date of October 2019. I thought it might be something with my laptop as that's where I first noticed it, but my desktop is showing the same as well, which leads me to believe that there's an issue with the application.
-
How necessary is it to have all 3? I only have WPD and WUB.
