    I'll be getting a new laptop... on my PC I already have XP Pro. I read the sticky on Home vs. Pro and it seems I don't really use the extra features Pro provides anyways. My question is, would it be any difficult to go from using Home to using if I got Home on the new lappie?

    not at all, pro just has differant programs and is based on the same XP platform as home.
