This is a picture of my current partition setup on a new laptop I got. Typically I would just delete all the recovery partitions and just keep the EFI boot partition, C and D drive and just use a hard drive image rather than the recovery console to restore the system if I need to, but with Windows 8 and this being an OEM, I don't want to risk anything. I have no idea what that 711 KB partition at the end is.

What I want to do is reduce my C drive to ~60 GB just for Windows and programs, and increase my D drive to ~850 GB. I am trying to use EASEUS Partition Manager to do this, which I have many times in the past with other computers. However, that small 450 MB partition is blocking this from occurring. The unallocated space from the shrunken C drive is not directly next to the D drive due to the 450 MB partition, so D cannot be extended.
This 450 MB partition contains the Windows RE. What course of action should I take here? Can I merge the Windows RE partition with the C drive partition, then shrink it, and still have it work? Should I just delete the recovery partitions completely and get a software like Acronis True Image that can create a hard drive image and then also a bootable CD/USB that can recover my hard drive image in case of a problem instead of using Windows' restore files?
The current partition setup has no use for me.
Windows RE partition is blocking me from resizing my partitions on W 8.1
