So my sister's laptop is stuck booting up with the message "Enter Product Key" etc, which would be fine if her keyboard was in English mode. However, she changed it to Arabic to write a college essay. How do we change it back to English? The laptop is an XPS M1330 with Vista Business.

    Thanks.

    Probably SOL until you format...

Reduced Functionality Mode is just that... Reduced...

It will be gone in SP1, but that doesn't help you any...

You can't write alphanumeric characters while set-upped as arabic? There must be a way because arabic windows still need to enter a product key >-<

Well whenever I enter a letter it says it's not a valid character...so I'm assuming this was caused by the language change.

There should be a keyboard command to change the language preference. For example my Japanese friend always uses Alt+Shift to change between English and Japanese. Try that... it should work.
