Peerblock starts up with Windows and then right away runs its updater. The update always fails because at this point in the system startup, either the internet isn't turned on or there's no connection yet. The program has a bug where it doesn't actually block anything unless it runs the update, the logs show nothing so I run the updater manually all the time.

What I'd like to do is have the Peerblock updater run when an internet connection is established. Is this possible using the Task Scheduler? If that's not doable, what about a task that starts Peerblock (the whole program) when an internet browser is opened?

    Thanks in advance.

    Bump.

If anyone knows how to start a Windows task in Task Scheduler upon WLAN detection, please share.

I've played around with it a bit more and can't find any configuration that works. The closest thing I get to is under 'conditions' in the create task window. There's a check box for starting the task if a network connection is present. One would think that's what needs to be done, but doesn't do it for me.
