Anyone download this update? If so, I have a few questions. As of now, I have patched my uxtheme.dll etc. to change the theme of Windows Vista. Will downloading this update have any effect on my patched files?

And one more question. This one may be off topic. When SP1 finally releases, do I have to go back and unpatch my uxtheme.dll etc. in order for SP1 to install correctly?

The update is essentially just a scanner. It doesn't actually change anything on your OS, nor does it even install on it. It just runs once and its gone. You'll notice it won't appear in your downloaded updates, as it does not install anything.
