I am having trouble installing windows updates on my computer using the windows update program. While it locates the updates, like 60 of them, all of them fail to install. I can't access my school network without these updates so I really need to install them. How can I??? thanks for the help

Have you recently used System Restore or had to repair the Windows installation using a CD?

I read somewhere (I think extremetech.com) that there was a bug that MS managed to create in some of the more recent updates that caused WU to fail if the system had used System Restore or you had to repair your Windows installation.
