Hi guys, so I'm having this problem with my Windows Update where it is not installing the updates.

At first it will start out all normal:

But then after a while it will go like this:

Then after I click "Close", it ends up like this:

I have re-tried it over and over again about 3 times and still the same result. So I'm wondering what is going on and what I can do to resolve it.

    Thanks :)

Sounds like your version of Windows is not genuine.

I don't know, but in that case I'd expect it to install the update successfully, and then declare the copy of Windows to be un-genuine.

Or Windows Genuine Advantage program has screwed up. If this is the case your first port of call would be to phone Microsoft and get then to talk you through re entering your product key. There is a tool on the Microsoft website that is for doing this. The reason you may need to speak to Microsoft is that they may have to validate your copy over the phone for it to work.
I have had this happen at my work with a couple of PC's I bought that had OEM licenses on.
