I'm pretty sure you all have read and heard about this already, how Microsoft caved to Intel over graphics and their confusing sticker program.

I think that the program was simply too broad ranging, system spec wise.
I just wanted to see what people here thought.

I'm still continuing to think that the problem lies within computer sellers in retail store that don't know a thing about computers.
-
True, but when the program requirements are so wide ranging, a beginner salesperson may not have what should have been a reliable source (the sticker) to look at.
For example, my stepmom's XPS 400 is easily capable of handling a premium version of Vista, but only has the Windows Vista Capable sticker on it, instead of the "Windows Vista Premium Ready" sticker. In fact, when we were in Best Buy looking for a desktop at that time, most only had the Capable sticker, even the high end models with discrete graphics cards, that could handle Aero easily. -
But a computer seller should know that
A) CPUs are not the major point in gaming
B) The integrated graphics card suck
C) The 8800GTS is a better card than the Radeon HD 2600XT (and I saw that once) -
Yeah, unfortunately though, not enough do.
