I'm getting a Vista Express upgrade to Windows Vista Business.

If i get the x64 upgrade version, will the x64 key work with a x32 full install media(no key) then upgrade(use key) loophole?

If I remember correctly, the Microsoft upgrade program will provide you with a OEM key right?

If so, then the 32bit/64bit you order is the one you'll get. OEM licenses are for one-or-the-other-not-both, whereas retail licenses can be used for either (though only one at a time mind you).

    Scam: yes
    Disappointing: yes

So do your research on what devices you own and expected driver availability. For instance: I have a Hauppauge HVR-950 tuner whose Vista drivers are okay right now, but Hauppauge has specifically said they are focusing on 64bit drivers in the future. If I had been in your shoes, I'd choose 64bit as all my other hardware currently has working and stable drivers for both.
