    Hi,

    Is there anyway to have windows vista power plan to switch automatically to power saver mode when on batteries and to high performence when plugged? thanx

    In the "advanced power options" dialogue, you should be able to set a specific plan to do one thing on battery and another on power - try setting the "balanced" mode so that on battery it does what "power saver" does, and on outlet power it does what "High performance" does.

    thanx for the info, I adjusted the balanced power plan to have full performence (CPU 100 all the time) while plugged in and to power save while in battery :)
