    Is anyone using it yet?

The general feel I heard from the Beta is that there wasn't a whole terribly lot new, and performance wasn't much better, but how about the Release Candidate. I'd be very interested to hear some hands on with performance, new features, and so on.

Well in comparison to the Windows 7 Beta, yeah, there isn't much new or huge performance gains.
Not gonna bother until it's RTM.

On my U6, with all my apps, W7 boots as fast as Vista Ultimate x64 Sp2 RC

With Windows 7 Beta so awesome already, it's time to forget about Vista's development cycle IMHO. Windows 7 FTW.

If the upgrade pricing from Vista to W7 is inexpensive (i.e. less than $100) then I'll make the jump at the official launch. But if it's higher then I'll have to reconsider and decide if it's worth it or not. Vista is running extremely well for me now.
