Anyone know if there are any good vista user interfaces for windows XP which can be downloaded for free? I just used a comp with vista and was very impressed with the layout...thanks.

Just buy Vista. XP doesn't have a display architecture that will really allow it to work like Vista does. If you want something free that looks better than Vista, try out Beryl under Linux.

Many come pretty close, but none of them can really clone the full visual effects of a true Vista desktop (how the windows fade in and out, 3D Flip, the actual structure in Explorer, etc.). When I had XP, though, stuff like Object Desktop / WindowsBlinds had its advantages because you can skin an XP desktop like a Mac, a Vista machine, pretty much anything.

I think you'll get bored of it after a while. I know I did.

Vista Transformation Pack 6
Works great. Nothing will get you a genuine Vista appearance, though.
