    Windows Vista always has SSD activity

    Vista has constant hdd/ssd activity, even when left idle for hours.

    It's driving me insane.

    Any ideas on what service would be causing this?

    Indexing is off, auto defrag is off.

    I've searched the web and can not find a solution.

    Any help is appreciated.

    good question. does the OP know that Vista went out of support (aka. EOL) in April 2017?
