Where is the cheapest place to buy a windows upgrade anytime dvd?

My HP came with Vista x64 home premium, but it of course came bloated. I want to just pick one of these up for 10 dollars or less somewhere and use my key to install my version.

I looked around, but couldn't find it cheaper then 30 dollars.

If I could find a good link to just download the retail one that would be great to as my dv7t already has a key.

Any Window Anytime Upgrade DVD will have all versions (Home, Business, Ultimate) of Vista in both 32 and 64 bit.

32 bit DVD will not have 64 bit content. Only Vista Ultimate retail ships in 2 versions. You will need a 64 bit DVD to clean install.

any 32 or 64b non-oem version of vista have all the flavors of vista on it. some of the branded oem versions force you to install a particular one, like ultimate.

If you can find a retail version of 32 or 64 bit, you can use it to install with. Your key determines what flavor is installed.

and some people say there are full retail vista disks on the net, but I wouldn't know about that :)

I got mine off ebay for 20 bucks.

The Anytime Upgrade disk will have all versions of Vista on it (Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate in 32 and 64-bit) however, your license for your OEM install will be tied to your computer, so you can't install a different version without purchasing it.

    Here you go:

And this is the guy I ordered mine from:

    uuhhmm.......
the anytime upgrade disks are either x86 or x64, not both, unless I have gone crazy, which is of course possible......

But you don't actually need an anytime upgrade disk. If you can find someone with a Vista Retail disk, preferably sp1, you can just use it. But you need a valid serial for the version you want to install.

Here's the information on Vista x64 I recently downloaded from MS Technet:
Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (x64) - DVD (English)

Includes: Home Basic; Home Premium; Business-Retail; Ultimate; 02-28-2008
    Details:
    3,748.59 (MB)
File Name: en_windows_vista_with_service_pack_1_x64_dvd_x 14-29595.iso Date Posted (UTC): 2/28/2008 6:01:56 PM
    SHA1: BDADC46A263A7BF67EB38609770E4FDBD05247CB ISO/CRC: 5CC5BE14
Available to Levels: TechNet Plus SA Media; TechNet Plus (Retail); TechNet Direct (Retail); TechNet Plus (VL); TechNet Plus Direct (VL); TechNet Cert Partner; TechNet Gold Cert Partner; T1.

You could always google for it, you might find it on the net. But if you do, always be sure to check the md5, sha1 and crc32 values to make sure it is an exact copy of the original iso. You can google for a nice little freeware program called Hash.exe You put it on your desktop, point it towards the iso you want to check out and it checks all the values for you, so that you know if it's the real deal or not.

Holler if we can be of more help!!
