    Hello everyone!

Im in love with the new Windows Vista. Everything is perfect. Working fine, fixing problems by itsself. Just fine! But the only problem is that i can't download torrents, when i try to, a problem appears : "unable to load "torrent": Invalid torrent file". That's for every torrent I try to download. Ive tried all the torrent programs. Any ideas how to fix that, I can't work without torrents! :(

    Thanks!

dont think its to do with vista but more to do with your browser or your internet connection. i think u probably should take this to a torrent site cuz then you will get better responses

bitlord for example dont support vista. theres a beta out for vista but the standard version wont work in vista. either try the beta or find a client that supports vista

The torrent client can't open torrents, not the browser.

Macpod, thanks, but in the client's homepages is said clearly that they work with Vista. Anyway I'll try the beta.

    More opinions?

    What browswer and what program?

I am using firefox and Azureus with vista and no problems. So your saying when you literall click on the download link it says that or when you try to add it to your programs download list.

it's not a vista "problem". it's something to do with your torrent client and/or setup. no-one can help you unless you provide some details.

    What browser and what program?

What a question?!?!!?!? Ive never said that the problem is in the browser... Its when I try to add in the torrent client.

NotebookYoozer I doubt its not a Vista problem.. Anyway tell me what exactly you want to know? Ive said what's the problem, what else?

Easy there, some browsers load torrents themselves like opera does and you still haven't said what program you are using.

For my big surprise, the problem its in the browser. When I changed it to Mozilla and downloaded the file it worked with my torrent client.. So.. Forget about IE..

By the way, thanks for the answers everyone!

I suggest using utorrent because it has full vista support and has a very small footprint with a ton of features.

the beta? well, i havent tried it but vista is not listed as a supported OS with bitlord and theres a beta out which says it supports vista so i assumed the beta was created to support vista..........

i've the same problen , i think, it's not for all torrents , but bmost of them vista downloads them too fast i think . pres ALT then tools\internet options then in general page in browsing history selection Delete... button then press button for temporary internet files , mostly it works , for me . if it dont works for the first time then try until it works.
