I just bought a refurbished notebook that came with Windows XP. Can anyone please tell me if there is a way to increase the dots per inch (dpi) resolution (like there is in Vista)?

(I was able to find how to increase the "font size" under the "display/appearance", but would like to adjust the "dpi" on the overall screen.)

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards.

Open the Display Properties dialog, on the "Settings" tab click the "Advanced" button, there should be a DPI option on the "General" tab.

Right click on your desktop, properties, setting, should be a slider for resolution.

    Edit Oops never mind.
