    I have Windows XP MCE 2002 and want to upgrade to MCE 2005. Is there any update ?

    Or shall I buy?

    i believe u can get an OEM versio for around $100 +, but just for the extra whistles have u tried to look into alternative like Media Portal?

    IMHO MCE 2002 is better than MCE 2005, I say this because MCE 2002 is essentially XP pro with media centre stuck onto it whereas MCE 2005 isn't quite the same thing(some components are missing in 2005)...Therefore I don't really see why you would want to go to MCE 2005 it is almost to me like taking a half step back, if you got MCE 2002 stick with it updating really makes no sense...

    MCE 2002 didnt support digital tuners or HD programming. And only supported 2 analog tuners. 2005 supports upto 2 digital tuners and 2 analog.
