Here is the situation, Before i upgraded to Vista I backed everything up using XP back up utility, Everything went fine.
Upgraded to Vista, Lost some files, so i tried to restore the back ups but it wouldnt let me since it was done on a a different OS, I found a utility on MS's website to restore back up's made on a different OS, well I downloaded it and it says i cant use it because it doesnt support my Processor type(T7200).???
Is there a way i can restore these back up disk.

That is why its almost always better to back up your DATA to DVD's as DATA.
Anyways did you try opening the disk manually to get to your files. -
