Should I use Windows XP, Server 2008, or Windows 7 (7100)? Which would give the better advantage to gaming performance and overall system performance?

What games are you thinking of? What type of performance are you expecting?

For each mentioned OS, you can get x/x/x pros and cons.

    cheers ...

They're not really intensive games but it's like The Sims 2, World of Warcraft, Counterstrike: Source, etc.

What kind of pros and cons were you thinking of?

just use the os you have a licence for, and don't worry about beta or server osses.

it's not like they magically change everything about your system usage, or games at all.

use what's on your system, and ask if you think something doesn't work as it should. then we help.

Was looking for benchmarks but I might as well stay with XP now for compatibility, and ease. Performance is fine for Windows 7, but I'd just wait until later.

    Thanks Dave!
