Last night when I was shutting down Windows XP, it asked me to install the windows updates it had just downloaded. It did this, and I rebooted to check that they had been successfully installed, but at the user-select screen it was asking me for a password, with the hint "shibba?". None of my family have made this password - could it be a virus? Some glitch known to be associated with recent updates? Any help about how to get rid of the password would be great!

    Thanks

Sorry NBR cant help you bypass any security measures.

i googled it and no one else seems to be getting the 'shibba?' hint. It must be someone in your family

As mentioned, NBR does not allow the discussion of ways to bypass security measures like passwords for any reason.
