    Hey,

My Windows folder (Vista x64) is a whopping 27.3 GB, why is this? What should I do about it? My OS Partition is running extremely low on space and thus I have to fix this problem quickly.

    Thanks,
    Vedya

You can use a partition manager to resize your partition to make it bigger.

Probably a combination of installed programs, files saved to that partition, paging file, restore points (you could delete some of the older ones to make some room), uninstaller information for all of the hotfixes and updates from Microsoft that have been installed, and probably growth in your registry hives (even if you installed all your programs into a different partition, they would still have added entries to the registry, which is kept on the system partition).

WinSXS folder size does not reveal it's true size. it's much smaller than that.

    check "WinSXS" on my sig.

I'd say you need to organize and clean the drive(s) on that computer.
