This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Windows has blocked some startup programs!!!!!

    if you disable any start up programs this message is displayed each time you turn your computer on, is there anyway to make it stop?

    Yeah I would like to know that too. It is a bit annoying everytime you turn on your computer and manually exit it :(

    Are you talking about programs YOU have disabled (probably via MSConfig) or the ones Vista has chosen to disable? The solution being offered handles the ones Vista has disabled and is a notification balloon in the system tray. I think you might be talking about the MSCONFIG one. For that, there is an option on the BOOT tab of MSCONFIG to make all changes permanent.
