I am trying to get Itunes installed on my friend's computer, and I keep getting an error saying that the Windows Installer Service wasn't found. I have tried everything I know to do and even tried to google it. Any additional help would be helpful.

First thing I would look into is to make sure the windows installer service is not disabled. If it is anything that uses MSI will not work. Right click " my computer" then "manage"(left click), then left click "services" scroll down for "Windows Installer" service.

    Good luck.

You could reinstall the windows installer--google windows installer redistributable for your version of windows (which you should have included in your post if you want anything more than vague answers).
