For about the past two or three weeks, my computer always says it's installing "windows update 1 of 1" whenever I turn it off. It does it every single time, and my computer has been acting a bit wierd (freezes when playing certain games).

    Any ideas?

There are two options, 1. Scan for malware/viruses etc (just a precaution) and 2. Go into Windows Updates and if there is a lot of updates, select them all and download/install them... That might do the job.
