Now that Windows Live is up and running with V.1 I've been trying out Windows Live Mail which seems like a really nice program. Both through use and visual appeal. One thing I feel myself wishing for is an option to minimize it to the system tray. Is there anyway to do this, am I missing something inherently obvious or is it just something that WLM doesn't accommodate?

I used this program during the beta... I've never seen it mini to the sys tray. It is an ok program, but I'm not sure where it fits... outlook 2007 simply blows everything else out of the water... with outlook connector you can get your hotmail/live accounts for free and they work like IMAP. Out 07 even mini to the sys tray. :)

Yep there's a way! Right click on the white envelope in the taskbar.. and select "Hide window..." and ouila!

I'm really starting to like it.. used it a while back, then went to outlook, but can't stand outlook so I'm back to Windows Live, I find it to be really quick and does everything I need really well.

Thanks! I was certain that there would be a nice and easy way to keep it running in the background. It was basically staring me in the face as well!
