    Windows media player problem!

    When ever i try to play a movie the screen flashes between the movie and just white. any suggestions??

    Windows Media Player does not have a codec for playing DVDs by default. I would suggest VideoLan for viewing DVDs. It is free and works quite well.

    Is this movie from a DVD or some other type of file? Is this problem only occuring for this certain movie? A little bit information would help.

    Use a different player then WMP, it kinda sucks IMO. I use winamp for music and PowerDVD for videos. Seems that alot of people like VLC for a media player, I haven't ever used it so I can't give you any info on the subject.

    I was flickers when i tried a dvd, downloaded video, and just a home video.
