I have asked several people about this and they couldn't figure it out.(By the way please don't ask why I want to use windows messenger cus I've been getting that a lot and it's annoying) I was using windows messenger and it was working just fine...then like 5 min later I tried to sign in again and got....We are unable to sign you in to .net Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your Internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.
This makes no sense to me because it was wotking 5 min after I signed off, I am connected to the internet because I am typing this,I tried to reboot,restore,nothing works. HELP!!!!!

You could try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Here is a run command that should uninstall it, they I think you can reinstall off the windows cd. Please wait for a mod to comment on my run command, I've used it but only to get rid of windows messenger cause I hate it.
RUN command for uninstall MSN messenger
