I wanted to resize my Windows partition and it asked for a reboot. The Easeus partition manager came up and started resizing and moving files. At completion, a terrible error came up telling me that updating system information failed and asked me to restart. I restarted and the computer said No operating System found. I used Gparted Live Cd to check out the status of the partition and under file system was Unknown. What this means I guess is that the Easeus manager did not sign off to tell that the Hard Drive is actually NTFS file system. Can someone please help me quick? I've tried the Windows 7 repair with no success since it can't even recognize that there is a Windows System as the partition is now a RAW format. System restore doesn't work for the same reason. Is there anyway to identify the partition as NTFS and get Windows running again
I have Mac on the other partition and it's still working, so I might be able to do something with it. Please help!

Your NTFS partition seems to me to be NUKED. You should have re-sized the NTFS partition from Bootcamp in OSX. That goes without saying you're using a Mac, correct?

I'm using an ASUS. A Hackintosh. I can't resize using Disk Utility in Mac, so I did it in Windows with EASEUS Partition Manager.

I'm sorry then. You've already violated Apple's EULA, and to keep you from getting in trouble, I'll tell you that's against the rules here to talk about this. ;)

Stepping away from the eula issue, easeus partition table doctor can fix it. I forget what it costs though.

testdisk will find and probably restore your partition

    TestDisk - CGSecurity

You will have to run it from a live rescue cd

I have had this happen before in Win7 , I tried to split a single partition into 2 C:/D: and after it did, I rebooted and notebook could not find the OS.

    Try this.
Boot from the instal disc then hit enter then choose the command prompt option. When the command prompt opens enter
bootrec /rebuildbcd (note the space in between bootrec and / )
If it finds a system it will ask if you want to add it to the bootloader - say yes.
If only the bootloader has been damaged this may fix it. It really depends on what exactly has been damaged.

ps make sure that the Windows partition (as was) is the active partition (mark it with GeParted Live cd if necessary)

Thanks guys, I've tried all the things you guys mentioned, and it still doesn't work. I've already reformatted the partition and reinstalling stuff. Luckily, the OSX is still on the other partition!
