I have been reading these forums and I wonder... is it true that the 64 bits vista version is not compatible with programs that the vista 32 bits is???
This program for example (solidworks 2008), will run on windows vista 64 bits?
http://www.solidworks.com/pages/services/SystemRequirements.html
It says it will be compatible with the 32 bits version but says nothing about the 64 bits version
-
procs that are only 64 bit probably but its not likely theyll make them like that only 32/64 but yes there may be problems with drivers
-
Yeah I would be using a 64 bits procesor
Does any1 know if that program I mentioned for example could run with a vista 64 bits OS? -
According to their 2008 beta release notes:
-
heeh I tried google but not so nice as you did
it doesnt support it -
Whether it supports it and whether it works are two differ things. It might work as many other 32bit apps/programs work on 64bit Vista.
