    i was just wondering what the difference is in the packages that windows vista comes in.

    Vista Home
    Vista Home Premium
    Vista Business
    Vista ultimate
    i think there is another but i'm not sure...so what is the difference between these?

    so looks wise they all pretty much are the same then? as i am eyeing a laptop atm with vista business although the laptop will be used for gaming and school work so this shouldn't be much of an issue should it?

    Well, All of them, other than Home Basic, which is an even bigger POS than Vista is atm(that doesn't make sense, does it?)..

    If you are going to game, you are better off sticking with XP.
