I am considering installing Windows media center 2005 on my z70VA for the extra features and the ability to use a media center remote with my notebook. But i was wondering if there is any drop in preformance in games or just normal use from windows xp pro? If you have media center installed on your notebook please comment on preformance and compatibility.

XP MCE uses more RAM than XPP. MCE is basically Home edition with multimedia enhancements. I'd recommend XPP if you are going to be networked 24/7.

Why not XPH? Save yourself a few bucks there.
