Hi, I just finished installing 32bit Vista Business onto my laptop from a 64bit business, but I noticed that the files from the 64 bit Vista are still on my laptop and its taking at least 20gb of harddrive space on my notebook. How do I get rid of it? Just right click and delete?

That should take care of most of it, but you should of done a clean install instead of an upgrade so that windows.old wasn't created.

Sometimes that windows.old folder might come in handy, especially if you forgot to backup certain documents or photos or files. Just find them in the windows.old folder. After that, feel free to delete the folder.

well this is a brand new laptop and I havent done anything yet that is of any real importance and its its taking up a whole lot of space on my harddrive. So is it safe to just right click the folder and just delete it? Same with the old Programs folder?

I assume you installed business over home premium? If so, Windows.old should be safe to delete after you've taken from it whatever you needed (documents, etc).

I've only done one installation of Vista, and it didn't format, instead it put all the old stuff in the Windows.old folder, and I simply deleted it without a problem.

Yeah, if that's the case for you then just delete it :) 20GB is quite a nice chunk of hard disk space to be able to use again!
