    Hey guys,

Need some help figuring out how to keep my mouse from sleeping.

I have windows 10 pro, and a gigabyte aero 15 laptop. I purchased a wireless gaming mouse, because I dislike touchpads and small mouses, and wires. The mouse works great, but I'm having an issue when my computer goes to sleep.

Anytime I leave the computer for a few minutes and it goes into sleep mode, my mouse is disconnecting. I believe its the usb port itself, and not the actual mouse. Turning the mouse off and back on doesn't allow the mouse to reconnect to the dongle, but if I unplug the dongle and plug it back in, it reconnects. It is only a problem when the laptop enters sleep mode, not when restarting or powering up from being off.

I've tried going into device manager and power settings for the mouse, but power settings isn't an option in the properties for some reason.

    Any suggestions?

Can a mod move this to the windows OS forum? I'm not sure how I posted this here.

So what kinda mouse is this? Did you check the power settings to prevent it from putting to sleep? Also if this mouse has drivers it's best to install them so you have more control as well. But since we have no specs on what kinda mouse and how you setup is that doesn't tell us much to go on.
