    When Windows 8.x is preloaded on anything of "value", particularly laptops, people literally gnash their teeth until their gums are sore. If you look closely you can see the scalp splitting down the middle from the rage.

    But when it's on a device that's only 99 bucks, people don't seem to notice.

    "People aren't buying computers because it has Windows 8.x"
    "People will stand in LINE, in the COLD, at 6AM, to buy a computer with Windows 8.x"

    DIVIDE BY ZERO

    Once again, people are not buying computers, for one single reason: Windows 8.x
    The global downturn in PC sales, that started well before Windows 8 came out, is singly due to Windows 8.

    I know, but some individuals seem to keep riding that train tho it's been off the tracks since day 1.

    Disclaimer here: I genuinely *like* Windows 8.x, on a desktop, and I like ModernUI. My posts were sarcastic towards people who truly believe Win8.x decimated the PC industry.

    Interesting. There was a myth that said that Windows 8, all by itself, has caused a global downturn in PC sales? Who knew!

    Well, written sarcasm is never sarcastic. Sometimes it can be pretty hard to say for sure whether it's sarcasm or not.
