Is your Windows 7 disc a Dell Disc?
Any dell disc will work in any dell computer. I'd just get your hands on a dell disc of your choice re-run the windows setup.
In the windows setup: Go into 'advanced drive options' and delete all the partitions and start fresh. -
I would like to try to recover the partition before wiping it. The partition is there, I can see it, it just will not boot. I even deleted the D: partition (the one I tried installing Windows 7 on) but no go.
I tried using another computers Vista CD to repair it, but it just said there are no errors. I don't know what's wrong... -
it looks like you nuked you mbr, try to boot with your windows 7 or vista install disk, go to the recovery console, select you c: drive and in the command prompt type:
Code:bootrec /fixmbr
