I have this strange problem with my copy of Word 2007. For some reason all the text that I enter is capitilized. When I used other text entering programs I don't have this problem. Does anyone know of any possible settings that could have been changed? Or will I have to reinstall...I really hope this isn't the case.
    Thanks,
    Tim

have you tried removing the normal.dotm and then letting it get recreated?

Seems like you've got the default case setting to Uppercase. Below the font and font size drop-down menu in the home tab, there should be a button that says "Aa". Click it, then click "Sentence case." Finally, right click on your document, go into "Font", then hit "Default..." (make sure the "All caps" box is unchecked).

^^^ I was going to suggest similar.

I think the UPPERCASE might be its default right now. I would suggest to click on Toggle Case...and check the Normal setting. Both underlined in red in attached image.

Thank you very much for the help guys! It was that togglecase setting that was causing the problem. I am not sure how I turned that on. lol I am just glad I don't have to reinstall word. :p
