Hey guys,
I'm using Microsoft Word 2007, and I'm trying to transfer the notes I took from one document to a review sheet on another document. Both documents were originally started on my computer, and both are Word 2007 files. The problem is, both documents are in Cambria 12 size font, but when I copy from document 1 and paste it to document 2, the pasted words changes to Calibri size 11. What can I do to correct this?
Thanks,
Hunter

There should be an option (looks like a small clipboard) when paste in to keep source formatting. Click on that and will keep the same formats, fonts etc.
Seems the versions with 2007 and 2010 like to revert to their defaults. -

Use paste special instead of paste.

Everything was on default before. And it's not a problem with pasting formats because both documents have the same font and size.
Is there a shortcut for paste special? And what's the difference between paste special vs. regular paste? -
Paste special allows you to select what exactly is copied - e.g. just excel cell values for example (when you have a formula in that cell) - same for word.
On that note though - whenever I copy something in Word, formatting is retained.
Calibri size 11 is the default in Word 2007 (and later) - I'd just live with it unless someone forces you to use size 12 which from the looks of it could be read by a blind person...
