    Hi.

We've just bought this laptop because of its balanced Price/performance ratio. The lap is OK, it runs smooth, cool and it has enough performance for running a lot of games.

However, I must say that its sound has the worst quality I've ever heard in my whole life. It is metallic, lack of bass, and far away from anything I have tested before, MP3, Smartphones, cheaper and older laptops...

Besides, there's no way to improve the sound quality with the soft that comes with the laptop, DTS sound system software.

There must be something wrong or missing because both the laptop's speakers and any sound system I plug to the laptop comes to the same crappy sound quality.

    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance!!

Real good sound involves external speakers and amplifiers of good quality. How good and how expensive depends on how discerning you are about audio quality. Get some external speakers or headphones from a quality manufacturer. Who makes audio gear. If possible listen to some and see what you like.

You could try a USB sound card, it will not do anything for the speakers, but it should at least give you something better for any external sound device plugged in.

Before that, do make sure to use the same pair of headphones/speakers with the same audio file on the laptop and other devices to make sure it isn't just the source material that is bad.
